Yeah, yeah, yeah. I suddenly understand why Valjean's soliloquy was so boring -- I articulated this, after the movie, as "watching him walk up and down the church wasn't very interesting," but I didn't understand it, because it's an arresting soliloquy in the theater. NOW I DO. Same with almost all the solos: both of Crowe's (except for the feet, that was nice), although I chalked that down to Crowe's singing, but it really wasn't.

The singing-and-fighting duel was great once I got used to it, I was just taken completely aback :)
