Mostly Dinner
Apr. 14th, 2008 07:12 pmClothes irony: because I'm not a fan of black, my black t-shirts, unlike the rest of my clothes, never wear out. So there inevitably comes a time when most - or all - of my clean t-shirts resemble outtakes from the Neil Gaiman fashion magazine. Fortunately, tomorrow's cold enough for long sleeves.
Also, very few contemporary music albums are good work albums. However, a number of songs are vastly improved by mix-and-match. Also, why do I love awful Fall Out Boy when I'm working? Why? Discuss in comments.
This weekend I made wannabe stir-fried chicken with garlic and ginger, then made rice in the same pan. (I say wanna stir-fry because it was actually cooked over medium heat and covered, but used soy sauce.) That got packaged with frozen vegetables and stuffed in the freezer. I also made peanut butter cookies, because I could. Lunch today was a boring sandwich - I have been spoiled by good rye bread - and veggies and an orange. Tonight's adventure in cooking was... here, have the breakown.

Operation Clear Freezer Space keeps running into my conviction that the freezer needs to be stocked for Armageddon (or five lunches on demand, take your pick). I need a couple of teenage boys on tap to help with my cooking experiments.
