Dear internet, please be very boring for a couple of weeks. I have to pack. And do something about my resume, like send it out. (I live convinced there is a platonic resume format, and if I don't use it I will never find a job, despair and woe will follow, etc. Possibly I will ask my supervisor to let me look at some of the resumes on her desk to make me feel better about my own formatting.)

Signs you are done with your life in its current configuration:

- picking a fight with your roommates over your stepladder's location or the kitchen lights being on or off seems like a good idea.
- a series of redacted events: the work wonkiness.
- your DC "to do" list: Vietnam war memorial (optional/suggested: Korea war memorial), O'Keefe exhibit at the Philips collection.
- your SF "to do" list: much, much longer.
- many trains of thought run along the lines of, "I should X / not X, but I don't care anymore."
- this week's elective comfort reading: Downbelow Station. It's a nice reminder that, really, my life could be much worse.

My last day at work is March 19th: I'm probably going to fly out on the 23rd. I want to leave on the 22nd, but realistically, I don't think I'm going to be done packing that quickly. Going-away party TBA, but I'm penciling in March 20th, and I'm going to try to get a work happy hour deal going for the 12th. When you start backward from Leaving Forever, the to-do list sorts itself very nicely.
