ST lays Heinlein's agenda out very clearly, so there's no fishing for the point you nebulously and completely disagree with.
Yeah. I actually... quite like his clear "A leads to B, and thence to C", because then you just take it or leave it-- you can say "A isn't true," or "A does not actually lead to B," but there's no confusion.
Speaking of which, V kind of annoys me, because it seems to think both that people suck and that anarchy is good. I guess the idea being that if you tell people they suck, maybe they... stop sucking? I don't know, it's hard for me to get a coherent picture of what it is he's really trying to say (what are A, B, and C?), and thence to argue against (or, I suppose, for) it.
Oh good, I wasn't the only one who had to stop and think about that! And, of course, the "backup hobbits" Merry and Pippin, who I distinguished by waistcoat color and accent.
This makes me happy, as everyone I know found it hilarious that I couldn't tell them apart. I find Merry and Pippin quite distinguishable in the books, but yeah, in the movie they didn't seem to care whether we could tell them apart or not.

You've read Watchmen, right?
