The Longest Day

Up at 6 AM against my will, out of the house until 8 PM (but now I have my library holds! Which were mysteriously delivered to two different libraries!), on the phone with dad until a quarter until nine and then started two loads of laundry. I sit now with dry hair and a basket of laundry to fold, and a 6:30 AM alarm triple-set. Tomorrow I will go to HR and ask about tuition remission for possible spring semester courses with a clean and neat appearance, if you ignore the raccoon eyes.

This is not my most glorious hour.

Interesting... I was at the library yesterday, returning a book I'd gotten through the hold process. There was a note on the door apologizing for recent inconvenience to patrons for unspecified problems delivering held materials. I guess delivery to the wrong place would count.

In this case, it looks like I placed two holds and the third was placed by the librarian, who assumed I'd want to pick it up at the library I was standing in when I placed the hold. Oh well.
