Very inteeresting! I'm interested to read the Lee and the Walton :)
I'm trying to remember when Gunnerkrigg Court started really grabbing me. Maybe it was volume 2 by the time I started getting into it? I remember the first bits not really being that interesting. The friendship between Kat and Antimony was, I think, the major draw for me, and I have a weakness for large-cast boarding-school shenanigans (of which there aren't many at the beginning) as well as stories where a seemingly small beginning opens up into a much larger world. The dead mother may be slightly more interesting than it looks right now, but possibly not all that much more interesting?
Interesting you bounced so hard off of Inda. I feel like I've heard a lot of great things about it -- it sounds on paper like a lot of things I'd really like.
