I absolutely adored this book, to the point where I have literally no complaints about it. The question of the real conflict is an interesting one, though. At various points, the main antagonist seems to be Old Faithful, Mark, or the Phoenix, but I do come down on the Saffie vs. Sapphire side of things. This may just be because I found her internal view of herself and her chosen roles super relatable.
I don't know if this book officially takes place in the same world as the Greenhollow Duology, but it's close enough in my mind that it might as well be. I really hope she sticks with this world for a few more books, because I cannot get enough of it.
