I haven't even cleared the Cast of Characters in The Paths of the Dead and I'm already falling off the futon mattress, laughing in delight. Mica! The Sorceress in Green! Tazendra! Sethra the Younger!

I'm going to resolutely ignore the hour and finish at least the Prelude, Preface and Chapter the First.

And for the record, I adore interlibarary loan.

Oddly enough, though he does appear, I couldn't find Pel in the Cast of Characters, under Pel or Galstan. Very curious...

... am going to be all silly non-spoiler purist on this novel. Please do not tell me anything else about what happens, doesn't happen, or may yet occur in the 90% of the book I haven't read yet.

(Obviously, it's time to come up with some sort of journal spoiler policy. I shouldn't want to jump all over one of my favorite people in the world because you mentioned that yes, a particular character's in the book.)
