Date: 2008-02-23 10:46 pm (UTC)At some points when I was at Cornell, I lived near the observatory on campus (north campus dorms) and got to see a lunar eclipse through the telescope, which was awesome.
Another time I got to see Saturn's rings. Very cool. :-)
