aseStarting a 1-to-3 month lab contract job on Monday. My checking account is relieved. The recruiter made optimistic noises about contract extension, which is nice, if ridiculously optimistic. I'm getting at least four weeks' pay and a local job on the top of my resume; if I can build some local network and references, I'll come out of this contract well ahead.
