More seriously, there are so many bigger problems to tackle. Why do the pro-lifers waste their time on this one?
An unexpected congruency was my attitude toward abortion and Sanger's. She abhorred it, I'm much more pro-choice, but I came up with a similar philosophy to hers: more contraceptives = fewer abortions, which is a win for humanity. Sanger's accounts of backdoor abortions sound horrific, but I'd want a second historical source to check against before accepting her account as completely truthful and ubiased. With that said, I'd be irate if we turned back the clock to the point that sort of horror became possible - but it looks like some people are trying to do just that.
