"Unformed" is a good description of the entire novel, I think. It could be so many things, but it doesn't explore any of the options in a way that is interesting or compelling to me.
My experiences with Valente's fiction have not been great. Actually, they've been the opposite of great. Another case of Possibly Great For Others, Absolultely Not My Thing.
Ack, well, I am sure that many other attendees will be excited and have eager suggestions about panels, etc?
