ase: "Admit it. You really want to reread the entire series. Just grab The Hobbit now and jump in."

miriel: "No, I can't... the Elves in there are really disturbing. I don't want to know what they're on."

ase: "You're upset by the Elves in The Hobbit because you're used to thinking of them as ancient and noble beings, but they get down and boogie like frat boys sometimes."

miriel: "You're posting that to livejournal, aren't you."

ase: "Yep. I'll do it while you're finding your shoes."

And so to class.
