miriel: "No, I can't... the Elves in there are really disturbing. I don't want to know what they're on."

ase: "You're upset by the Elves in The Hobbit because you're used to thinking of them as ancient and noble beings, but they get down and boogie like frat boys sometimes."

miriel: "You're posting that to livejournal, aren't you."

ase: "Yep. I'll do it while you're finding your shoes."

And so to class.

How does she like the Secret Diaries? "Still the prettiest" isn't all that noble. (Though very like nobles are often portrayed)

The VSDs, with their focus on movie canon, are a great source of local amusement.
