Photography Week 1: Daffodils Plus

I put these together Friday night so I could post them Sunday, after I got home. Good for me. Future updates will be Sunday or Monday morning, barring boring afternoons at work.

Resizing, brightness/contrast. I love daffodils with a ridiculous passion.


Wheaton library used book sale, politics section. Resizing, sharpening. Apparently, color counts.

We actually bought the last car from the owner of the shop where we get most of our work done, and are hoping to do that again. He buys cars very selectively at auction; recent models, reasonbly low mileage, and remaining warranty. He then has his crew scrutinize them for problems, and gets them fixed at the local SAAB dealer under warranty. Going back several times, if necessary. And when he sells to a customer, the remaining warrant transfers. Plus, you can buy a second-party warranty for 7 years/100K miles. All round, very nice.

He'll be at auction tomorrow,and has discussed a couple of possibilities with us. Fingers crossed.
