In the absence of content, enjoy a sunset.

Bonus idea: list all observable scientific phenomena in the above picture. I count matter phases, evolution, gravity, planetary curvature, and a recent demonstration of combustion and lift (upper left corner) off the top of my head.

Fluid dynamics, turbulence, thermonuclear fusion, atmospheric refraction and its variation with wavelength, the list is nigh-endless!

...the list is nigh-endless!

I'm subtle like that. And yay, someone caught the fusion in there!

Don't forget the Water Cycle and all it entails...how'd the clouds and lake get there in the first place?!

Most definitely. So water cycle would be chemistry (water!), geology, or biology (no life without water)?

While there is no life without water, there is (presumably) water without life. So the hydrological cycle gets placed firmly within Geology as it shapes the abiotic landscape both directly and indirectly.

Fluid dynamics is a broad blanket, but I think wave generation deserves mention. Light scattering. Light transmission in a transparent medium (leading, of course, to the mentioned refraction.) Specular reflection.

But, mostly, pretty picture!

Thanks! I'm enjoying the excuse to see what people come up with on the science front.

Aw, people already called the water cycle and transfer of energy via wave generation. So I'll throw in all the various phenomena behind photography.

Oh, that's just cheating. Name some of them, like how the photosensors work.
